NM Science Foundation is about freedom in education.

Focus:
The scientific method is driven by testing and observation, not personal ideology. Teaching interpretation or historic science as fact, without using the rigors of the scientific method, oppresses science and teaches students that science is no more than what they are told to believe. NM Science Standards are divided into three sections to promote the importance of the scientific method:

• Content of Science (Topics & Curriculum Outline)
• Science and Society (History of Science)
